Evaluation location: Skåne län, Sweden
Project funded by NordGen and Oatly. A total of 762 accessions were sowed at Lönnstorp experimental farm in Sweden för phenotyping, The material was sown in standard multiplication plots, 6-rows 1.2 m in length with 0.3 m spacer to next plot (n=1).
Field scoring was done on:
plant height
lodging
seed shattering
strawbreak
panicle emergence
panicel type
panicle attitude
panicle length
grain color
grain hulled/naked.
Post harvest analyses was done to measure:
thousand grain weight
grain size (Marvin analyzer).
Note, these accessions has been genotyped by GBS in a project between NordGen, ScanOat, Lantmännen and Oatly.
